Read your meter
Your meter records the amount of energy and/or water your business has used. By providing reads each month we are able to bill you for what you have actually used, rather than estimates. We want to do this so that you can budget for future bills and monitor your consumption.
We will remind you every month to send us a meter reading so that we can make your bill. Please send us your reading between the 24th and the last working day of the month. This helps us to make your bill accurate. Watching your meter readings will help you monitor your usage. Please give us your meter reading through Customer Zone before the last working day of each month. Alternatively, you can email watermeter@vsave.co.uk or call our customer services team on 0800920511.

Your water meter is not the same as your electric or gas meter, but it works in a similar way. It measures how much water you are using, and it’s important to check this regularly. If you have an older type of meter, it might have both black and red numbers on it. To take your meter reading, you need to focus only on the black numbers. These numbers show how many cubic metres of water you have used. The red numbers show how many litres you have used, but you don’t need to worry about those. Just read the black numbers from left to right to get your total usage in cubic metres.
